Privacy Policy

Plain English. No surprises. This is how we handle your information.

Bodytruth Family Farms Educational Foundation, Inc. is built on trust. The people who come to us — aspiring growers, veterans, community builders, funders, Earth Keepers — share their information with us because they believe in what we're building. We take that seriously. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do.

Our core promise: We will never sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for any commercial purpose. Ever. Your data exists in our systems to serve your relationship with the Foundation — nothing else.

What We Collect

When you fill out our contact or enrollment forms, we collect only what you provide:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your organization, if you share it
  • Your role and area of interest (from the form dropdowns)
  • Anything you write in the message field

We do not collect payment information, social security numbers, or any sensitive personal data through this website.

How We Use It

We use the information you provide for one purpose: to follow up on your inquiry and keep you informed about the Foundation's work — programs, cohort openings, Earth Keeper opportunities, and organizational updates.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, retarget you across the web, or populate third-party marketing platforms.

Media, Photography & Video

The Foundation documents its work — through photography, video, and storytelling — as part of its mission. This documentation is used to share the impact of our programs with the broader community, funders, and the public.

If you participate in a Foundation program, cohort, or Earth Keepers session, you may be photographed or filmed as part of that documentation. Your enrollment form will include a clear opt-out option — no explanation required, no questions asked. If you choose to opt out, that preference is noted and honored at every session.

If you are a visitor or community member at a Foundation event, photography may occur in shared spaces. We will always make opt-out signage available at public events.

Documentation involving minors requires explicit written consent from a parent or guardian. No exceptions.

Cookies & Analytics

This website may use basic analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. This data is aggregated and anonymous. It helps us improve the site. It does not identify you personally.

We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or retargeting purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your information is stored securely. We use reputable third-party tools to manage form submissions and communications, and we choose tools that take data security seriously. We do not store payment information on our servers.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you
  • Request that we correct inaccurate information
  • Request that we delete your information
  • Opt out of communications at any time — every email we send includes an unsubscribe option
  • Opt out of photography and video documentation at any point during your engagement with the Foundation

To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly at bodytruthfoundation@gmail.com#64;gmailbodytruthfoundation@gmail.com#46;com">bodytruthfoundationbodytruthfoundation@gmail.com#64;gmailbodytruthfoundation@gmail.com#46;com. We will respond promptly.

Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Period.

We may use trusted service providers (form tools, email platforms, analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality. These providers are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law — but only to the extent legally required and never voluntarily.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

For Foundation programs that involve minors, separate written parental consent is required for enrollment and for any photography or video documentation.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. We will not make changes that reduce your rights without clear notice.
